What Is Meta Muse?
Meta Muse is Meta's personal AI agent, introduced in September 2026. The key idea: instead of only answering questions like a chatbot, Muse can take action on your behalf.
Agent, not chatbot
A chatbot waits for questions and replies with text. An agent like Muse can carry out multi-step tasks: researching options, filling out forms, sending emails, booking travel, comparing products, and making purchases with your approval. It works toward goals you set, not just single prompts.
How you reach it
Muse lives in the Muse app (iPhone, Android, Mac) and can also be reached through WhatsApp in supported experiences. It runs on a dedicated cloud computer — the Muse Secure VM — with its own browser, so it can work on the web even when you're not watching (see how the Secure VM works).
What to know before relying on it
Availability varies by country and rollout stage — at launch it was US-only. Features may depend on your device and which accounts you've connected. Always check the current official Muse page for what's actually available to you right now.
